Additional concert funding has ended!

For many years Solistforeningen af 1921 has provided financial support to a number of music societies and festivals in the country.

Applications are considered individually by the association’s board, and support is usually given to associations/festivals that organise at least four serious classical concerts, preferably with Danish artists.

In 2004, this operating grant was supplemented by a special grant for one concert per season.

Regrettably, as a result of a new EU directive, this form of support cannot be continued. When considering applications from music societies and festivals that have budgeted in the confidence that they can count on the additional support, the Board of the Soloist Association will take special account of this as far as possible.

Although this special support is now ending, we will continue to provide links to the many excellent ensembles in our membership:
